I Shopped The Men's Section And Found These Pants
Before I get into the style part of the post, there’s a story behind these pants. I promise to keep it short…
A few years ago I happened upon this super fabulous skirt on Asos.com. I go to add it to my cart and the darn thing wasn’t available in my size. I wished upon 10 stars that the skirt would come back in my size but it never did. Fast forward to a few months ago while shopping for a client, I see these pants - in the men’s section.
Girl, I almost jumped out of my skin. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It was the pant version of the skirt I really wanted. Needless to say I orderd the pants and get this, they were on sale for only $19. You read it right, no typo - $19!!!
The morale of the story here guys is that there is nothing wrong with perusing the men’s section every now and again. No matter if I’m shopping online, at the mall or thrifting I will dip into the men’s section to see if I find anything fun. For this look, I kept it casually cute by pairing these tropical print pants with a blue stripped button shirt. I opted for these lime green platforms to highlight the green hues in these pants. Btw, here’s the tropical print skirt I was talking about.
