How I'm Celebrating My Birthday During A Pandemic
Never in all my life would I have ever thought that a global pandemic would keep me from celebrating my birthday. For the past few years, I’ve kinda nonchalantly blown off celebrating because I didn’t think it was that big a deal. I know, I know…. crazy right! Well this year, COVID19 really put things into prospective for me.
No longer will I take being healthy, not having to worry about where my next meal is coming from or wondering about where I’ll sleep for granted. Life is to precious for me to act like it’s just another day.
So today (Cinco de Mayo) is my birthday!!!!! And I’m super stoked. The first order of business will be to get my emissions done and register my tag (boring), then I’ll probably…. head back home (I’m still on quarantine.) Once back home, I’ll go online shopping (insert happy dance.) Hubs gave me money and I intend on spending all of it on a few pieces from Zara and Asos that I’ve been eyeing. Probably around 4:00 or 5:00 this evening, we’ll head to Publix to pick up dinner. That’s what I’m most looking forward to. My birthday dinner will be crablegs with a semi loaded baked potato on the side. Now unless the Mr has planned something else, that’s pretty much it guys!
Now before Corana decided to wreak havoc all over the world, my birthday plans included having my cloffice (closet/office) repainted, cover up these three openings that are for storage and replace a few base boards I had to remove for the installation of my Ikea Pax System Wardrobe Unit. The icing on the cake was to finally order shoe racks so that I can properly organize my shoes. Oh well! It will happen soon enough.
