How I Styled Biker Shorts
Every now and then a trend comes along that I swear is not the move and biker shorts was one of them. I couldn’t get into them in the 90’s nor did I care for them when they came out again last year. Even though I’ve seen many fashionista’s styling them in a cute way, it was still a no for me, dawg!
Fast-forward to Dec. 19 I was merrily online browsing when I came across these check mesh biker shorts. I tried to not like them, but for some reason couldn’t resist adding them to my cart. And the $8 price tag they carried made buying them a no brainer. Even after they arrived and I tried them on, I wondered if I’d ever really wear them…. Guess I finally got around to wearing them.
For this look, I decided on a simple but street chic vibe by pairing the biker shorts with this black oversized button-down shirt. I throw on this checkered fanny pack as an afterthought, yet couldn’t decide on which shoes to wear - mules or boots. I settled on the boots.
