What I Would Have Worn For Easter Service

easter+dress_melodiestewart.com_1.jpg

This is the look I would have worn to attend today’s resurrection (Easter) service.  Instead (irl) I wore a cute pair of paperbag jeans, an olive green tshirt and red rainboots for our weekly grocery store run.

You guys if I can be transparent with you, since we’ve been social distancing, my #ootd’s have consisted of tshirts and shorts (mostly from my husbands closet.)  Dressing up just to walk from upstairs to downstairs isn’t something I look forward to.  Now I know some fashion experts are out here offering stylish ways to be casually cute at home… Chile, please, I am not here for that.

On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with putting on a cute casual outfit while you’re sheltering in place.  Whatever you do, do what works for you during this intense time.

With all that’s going on in the world currently, I pray that you stay safe and protected.  And a huge THANK YOU to all the essential workers serving on the frontline of this nasty virus.
