How Pins & Brooches Can Add Flair To Your Outfits

How Pins & Brooches Can Add Flair To Your Outfits, Top Atlanta blogger, Atlanta Personal Stylist, Thrifted Fashion

There are a few items still on my thrift wish list. However I can finally cross out a camo jacket. I was overjoyed to find this jacket at the thrift store a couple months. And guess where I found it…. in the mens section.

As soon as I tried it on, I new right away that I wanted to bedazzle it with all of my favorite pins and brooches. So long gone are the days of just wearing one or two pins/brooches on your lapel and calling it a day. These days you can go all out and call it a vibe.

Do you know that initially, they were not created as jewelry? Back in the day, they were functional and practical pieces used to secure and fasten clothing. In present day, brooches and pins are decorative jewelry pieces that make an outfit stand out and express the wearer’s personality.

Styling pins and brooches is not just about adding them on a blouse or jacket anymore. They can be added to some of your once looks pieces that you haven’t discarded yet. Here are a few ways I’ve jazzed up my outfits with pins and brooches. I’ve even used broken jewelry or accessory pieces as well.

Adding brooches or pins to your look can bring a sense of style and make a fabulous fashion statement. As always I hope this look inspires you the next time you get dressed.

Btw… you can purchase some really cool and dope accessory items from my boutique - Expressory!!!
