Striped Shirt Dress + Red Boots

Happy first day of December!  I posted on IG yesterday that the forecast for 2017 is 100% chance of WINNING! (tweet if you agree)

I was at the register about to check out when I saw this shirt in the men's section and I grabbed it up in hopes that it would fit and as you can tell it did.  The one person who I thought would have frowned at it actually tried to rip it off of me (I love my hubs.)  Someone once told me I was underrated.  Honestly that made me smile and I started to realize that my talent and ambition would make room for me.  

Style Tip: one way to maximize your wardrobe is by adding items that can be worn a number of ways.  So maybe the next time I wear this dress, I'll add a blazer or bomber jacket with some oxfords, maybe.  How would you refashion this shirt-dress?
