5 Reasons Why I Still Shop At The Thrift Store
Thrifting is almost an acquired taste, so to speak -- digging through cluttered racks and bins, the musty smell of who-knows-what permeating the air all for the purpose of finding something really ah-mazing. While it does require some effort and patience, it’s so rewarding. It’s funny that what I use to be ashamed of is now one of my favorite things to do.
Here are a few reasons I love thrift stores and why you should definitely give them a shot if you haven't already.
They are cheap and good for your wallet.
Thrift stores are a major factor in keeping more out of the landfills. That’s great for the environment.
You can create your own personal style. Unleash your creativity.
They help the community. Many thrift stores are non-profits that partner with local charities, and when you make a purchase, part of what you spend goes to a good cause.
