4 Steps To Getting Rid Of The Monday Blues

By now you're probably well into your day and you still feel like blah.  SNAP OUT OF IT!  Today is the day to "David Your Goliath!"  - Mattie James.

Chances are you came into work this morning feeling like here we go again.  The rigmarole of the work week is pressing hard upon you and you keep asking yourself... Why?!?!  Why am I here?  Well guys it's because you want to be.  Don't side-eye me just yet, here me out.  Being in Corporate America for the last 11 years has taught me a lot.  So I don't regret it.  I am disappointed that I've sat here so long doubting myself and my talents.  But not anymore.

Story time -- Early last year I told myself that that was my last year working in Corp Amer.  Forget crawling, I was running into full time entrepreneurship.  I had it all mapped out (in my mind.)  Once I quit, things would just fall into place.  My clientele would immediately grow.  Clients would be at my door waiting for me. Right?  Wrong!  My plan was short lived.  The reason being, plain and simple was that I failed to plan!  A dream without a plan is just a wish - tweet this.  That reality hit me like a ton of bricks.  Without a plan my vision lacked direction, consistency and purpose.  Guy's it's not that we don't have the guts to grind, but that we lack the proper tools to succeed.  This is the reason Monday's are hard.

When you become resentful, envious or jealous of other women; This is a dead ringer that it's time for a change.   If you're at the point that enough is enough and that you're sick and tired of being sick and tired follow these 4 Steps to help you get rid of the Monday dumps:

  1. Pray! Pray! Pray!  I can't stress this enough.  And then listen...

  2. Proclaim out loud that things are going to change.  Remember life and death lies within the tongue.  You have the power to speak into your life.

  3. Write the vision.  Writing helps you remember the goal.  Because seeing is believing.

  4. Find and connect yourself to a person or group of people who can pour into to you.

Wow, I didn't realize I could be such a talker.  But for real, I hope that reading this post encourages you as well as it did for me writing it.  Let me know below in the comments.  And Have A Happy Monday's!!!
