The Crop Blazer & Denim Shorts Combo

Crop blazer, Two tone shorts, Atlanta influencer, Atlanta fashion stylist, Atlanta street style

I’m back with another style edit! But before we get into the fashions, let’s chit chat about what’s been going on with me.

First of all, how’ve you guys been? I can honestly say, the majority of the time I’ve been feeling pretty decent lately. The Mr and I have slipped in a few dates outside the house these last two months, seeing as though we haven’t been to a restaurant in well over a year. I must say even after 12 years of being with this man… I’m still in love and love spending time with him.

In other news, we’re headed to Dallas next month for a wedding and this man has already planned out what he’s wearing for each day we’re there (this includes the plane ride there and back). Me on the other hand, not so much. As I type this post, I’m waiting on a dress I ordered to arrive that I pray works. Once I get what I’m wearing to the wedding squared away then I’ll focus on the other looks.

Anyway, that’s enough of the life update let’s move on to this outfit.

Since I’ve been on the hut for something to wear to this wedding, I’ve shopped all over. Which is how I happened upon these super fun two tone mom shorts. Now I usually don’t wear shorts because my thighs tend to eat them, however, I gave caution to the wind and purchased these shorts from Hollister (going with my true size). I’m glad I did.

There are so many great ways to style mom jean shorts with pieces you likely already have in your closet. For me, pairing these high rise shorts with this crop blazer and *graphic tee was easy and effortless. Although the look is giving an weekend vibe, adding a blazer just polishes the outfit a bit. Btw, if you’re looking to add a touch of cool factor to an outfit, I can’t recommend the blazer enough. To finish the look, I went with these platform sandals and clear box clutch.

*My husband had a local artist draw our family as superhero’s and he had the artwork put onto a tshirt.
