Lace Skirt + Adidas Sneakers

On days when I kinda want to dress up but then not really, I tend to lean towards the athleisure look.  It functional, yet fashionable.  Gone are the days where sneakers are meant for the gym only.  I decided to dress up my sneakers with this black lace skirt from Plato's Closet, but you can get one from here or here.  Denim/chambray tops should be a staple in your closet.  Actually you should really have more than one, hint-hint.  Besides the thrift store, you can pick one or two up from Old Navy or Forever21.  I added this neon yellow handbag (thrifted) just for the heck of it, lol.  But really accessories just make things better!  Have you given this look a try?  What's your opinion on this trend?
