Flannel Duster + OTK Boots

Flannel Duster + OTK Boots_5.jpg

I'm starting to take more outfit risks.  I use to be hesitate about revealing my body, mainly because of my religious upbringing.  I was taught that a lady should always cover up and that her body is for her husband.  Therefore showing off these mini thick thighs, is a NO-NO!!!!  If my old Pastor could see me now....  But!  I was also a little renegade, so today I'm giving you a little thigh action...

About a year ago, I started being uninspired by my wardrobe.  I really was getting to a point where I couldn't find anything to wear.  I'm sure you've been there before, where you just stand in your closet looking for an outfit to jump out at you.  Whenever, I get stump on what to wear, I start from the bottom - shoes.  Once I decide my shoe mood, I build my look from there.

When I ordered these boots, I had no idea how I was going to style them.  Honestly, the only reason I got them is because my husband liked them.  He says I never dress sexy for him.  And the fact that I'm short and petite; I tend to shy away from anything that I feel would make me look even shorter.  An-t-wayz, the first time I wore this dress (

), I styled it with socks and sandals.  In order to winterize this dress, I added this flannel dress turned duster.  The OTK (over-the-knee) boots were worn to protect my legs from the elements.  Now that the weather is warming up in Hot-lanta, I'm starting to think of other ways to style this dress.

Do you have any suggestions about the next way I should style this dress?  Drop a line below and let's discuss it.  You never know, I may end up taking your style advise.  Holla!!!
