What I'm Wearing To The World Natural Hair Show + I'm Teaching A Thrift Style Workshop

Happy Fabulous Friday people!  I am so ready for this weekend.  Can you guess why?  I gave a little hint in the title of this post.  Tomorrow is THE DAY that I get to facilitate a thrifting workshop at the 21st World Natural Hair Show presented by Taliah Waajid

My style session is tomorrow from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm in Classroom: Italian 1-2 (tickets).  I think because I'm so hype about it that I'm not even nervous (at least not yet).  I actually feel really good about the workshop tomorrow.  I still can't believe it.  This is the biggest platform I've been on so far.  And I'm so grateful that God allowed somebody to think about me for this opportunity.  All smiles as I write this post!!!!!!

You already know that my look has to be bang'n right?  And of course it has to be thrifted, duh!  I've been thinking about what to wear every since I got the call.  And after going back and forth with myself, I decided to repeat a look that I absolutely loved the first time I wore it.  The first time I wore this look was at Atlanta designer Natt Taylor's pop up shop a few weeks ago.

And to think a couple of years ago I would never be caught wearing the same thing twice. Girl what?!?!  Especially if I got photographed in a look.  No ma'am, Pam!  But baby, I'll be 40 in a few weeks and things like not repeating an outfit is cray cray!.  I'm at a place now where I don't even care anymore.  Which is why I'll be wearing this exact look tomorrow.  The only thing I'm changing is my undergarments and my hair will probably be different.

My favorite part of this look is the bright yellow ruffle skirt I picked up from vintage shop Ecologie in Kennesaw, GA (It's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it).  My skirt is thrifted, however this ASOS satin pleated midi skirt with hanky hem is super dope and so cute and you should get it.  Guys, I've said it once and I'll say it again, Zara is the real MVP when it comes to shoes.  I would suggest not waiting to get a shoe you really like, their inventory goes quick.  These white brogues are no longer available.

Well style lover's do me a fave... Send up a prayer that all goes well tomorrow and that something awesome comes from the experience.  Appreciate it and ttyl!
