Have you been wondering where I've been?  Well life happened!  And I allowed some things to get me down and out.  Honestly guys, I was really on the verge of quitting and just settling for a mediocre existance.  I was there, you've been there, we've all been there; But

I refused to give up.  So many times in my past I allowed my circumstances to dictate my outcome.  NOT ANYMORE!!!!  I had to remind myself that nothing worth having in life comes easy.  Not sure who came up with the phrase - "I'm too creative for a 9-5", but that's soo true for me.  How dare I deny you really dope outfit posts each week (lol, wink)?  I saw a post on IG just this morning which said, "There are people watching me, copying me and looking up to me, but they will never tell me."  I think about the person who had a purpose just for me.  If they had given up, I may not be who or where I am today.  One of my favorite bloggers,

Mattieologie

said it best - Push through.  You're closer than you think.  So here I am pushing past the obstacles that were meant to block me.

So let's get into the today's blog #ootd.  Giving you a bit of late 80's early 90's street vintage.

Burgundy Moto + Army Fatigue

Atlanta style blogger, style blogger, Atlanta blogger, natural girls killing it, street style, Moto Jacket, Fatigue Pants

I feel like we just got into January and now we're almost at the end.  Maybe it's due to the fact that I celebrated Christmas, New Years and my wedding anniversary all within a 20 day span.  A girl could get use to this...

Now that we're into the new month, I have already hit the ground running.  My husband has already given me the green light regarding my exit plan from my 9 to 5.  Even before the new year hit, I was already busy planning the ways that I can create multiple streams of income.  Although I know what I wanted to do, I really didn't know how to execute it.  But that all changed when I got wind of the live streaming app - Pericsope

(download the app and follow me @thestyleklazit).

I started following a number of #ladybosses who weren't afraid to share the knowledge that got them to where they are now.  Just wait guys, I've got some good things coming this year that will help you in all your styling needs.

Just Having Fun

Happy Monday Stylenista's!

I had another great weekend!!!  My birthday was last week and my husband, as always, went out of his way to make sure I had a great birthday.  Man I love my hunni bunni!!!

Now let's talk about my look.  I didn't really plan this look it just sorta came together.  One of my home girls posted a pic where she wore a pair of iridescent sunnies.  I knew then that I would be adding a pair to the collection.  I really had fun with this look.  My fave is the radio print t-shirt which I got from The Children's Place while I was suppose to be shopping for my son.  Being petite has it's advantages.  Just so you know.... I'm really feeling this radio print t-shirt and the neon yellow bag and this polka-dot blazer and these black/white stripped shorts and pretty much this entire look.

She's Got Leggs!

Hello Stylenista's!

OMGEE!  I have been running from event to event for about the last two weeks.  Not to mention, I still work a full time job (but not for long, I'm working on my exit plan.)

So one of the events I attended last week was Parker Simmons of Everyday Runway Henri Bendel Sip & Shop.  While being a little indecisive about what I wanted to wear, I wasn't worried.  I knew my look would come together.  The weekend prior I attending Thrifting Atlanta's monthly bus tour.  One of my fave stores to visit is Diva Diva Boutique, and it was there that I found the last piece to my look that hadn't even been created yet.  Since I do media for the bus tour, I typically don't get to do as much dedicated shopping as I'd like.  But every once in a while I get lucky.  I was a little skeptical about getting this skirt because it was a little shorter than I'm use to, but I didn't want to leave it behind.  Glad I did!  This look, if I say so myself, turned out oh so cute.
