I LOVE BLAZERS!  Of all the wardrobe staples you should have in your wardrobe, blazers are one of my must-have pieces.  Just adding a blazer is in most cases an instant way to elevate your look whenever you’re having a bad outfit day.

Now that spring is officially here, I’m looking forward to transitioning out my winter wardrobe in anticipation of the warmer temps that’s on the way.  Of the four seasons Spring is my favorite.  It’s the perfect time of year for layering with a blazer.  When it comes to styling a blazer, you can never have too many outfit ideas.

Just in case you need a little style inspiration, I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite blazer styled looks.  So the next time you find yourself not knowing what to wear, just add a blazer!!

Now go and dress amazing!

I Turned An Ugly Dress Into A Cute Shirt

Top Atlanta Blogger, Atlanta Personal Stylist, dress over skirt Street Style

The best part about being a stylist is showing my clients how to make the most of their wardrobe.  What I've found is that most of them don't have bad taste in clothes, they just struggle with seeing the potential that's in their own closet.  That's why it's my job to help them develop the ability to see their closets full potential, which gives them the kick start they need to begin creating awesome outfits.

When it comes to shopping the first question you should be asking yourself before buying an item is - How many ways can I style this piece?  If you can come up with at least 3 ways, then it's a good buy.  Take today's look for example.  This thrifted marigold dress turned lace shirt didn't have any hanger appeal, yet I knew it had the possibility of being a cute top.  Removing the underlining was a game changer.

If you're into keeping up with the latest styles and trends, then you know see-through mesh or sheer is a thing.  And while I've dabbled with this trend on a small scale (see HERE) I'm still a little hesitant about people being able to see right through my clothes.  So here's what's funny, I knew immediately that I was going to style this top without anything under it - go figure.  Now we've seen this look styled with lingerie only or jeans and a tee-shirt beneath it.  I opted to wear a distressed denim mini skirt just so that my be-hind wasn't out for all to see.

Last month I hosted another Kläzit Raid shopping party and scored this bight colored marigold blazer that gave this look all kinds of springtime vibes.  My shoes are old from ShoeDazzle, but a cute red flat or sandel (or whatever shoe you decide) will work with this look.  The icing on the cake for me was the cigar box handbag with the colorful parakeets.

Btw, the first time I wore this top, I styled it with a pair of high-waist wide-legged jeans and platform heels.  The next time I wear it, I think maybe to pair it with a dress and sneakers.  So there you have it, 3 different ways to wear this ugly dress turned cute top.  Before I close, question.... Do you have anything in your closet that you can re-purpose?  Or what's your relationship with colors?  Do you try new colors or stick with your go-to ones?  Talk to me in the comments below.

Spring 2017 Lookbook

Before you say anything, I know summer is just two days away and I'm stupid late releasing the full lookbook video.  But I have a good reason... Well maybe not a good reason, but a reason none-the-less.  With this being my first video and you know how the story goods, I was super critical of every little detail.

My hair is messed up in the back, I forgot to suck in my muffin top, why am I smiling like that, is that ash on my feet and so-on and so-on.  The real reason was that I was fearful.  After looking at so many other style blogger visual lookbook's, mines just seemed so amateur.  But at this point (and since I paid for it) here it goes.

Now if you've been keeping up with my posts then you'll have noticed I've already posted 3 of the 4 lookbook outfit.  Red plaid skirt, white distressed jeans, denim on denim.  The last look will drop tomorrow, pinky promise.  Drop a line below and let me know what you think.  Should I do another one or stop while I'm ahead???

One last thing...  I'm hosting my first event in a while.  Myself and nine other Atlanta bloggers will be giving up a few items from our closets.  Items range from gently worn clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories.  Sounds like loads of fun, right?!  Tickets to the brunch or general admission can be purchased here.  Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
