Considering the how the week started here in Atlanta, I'm super excited that I'll get to spend the end of the week with my one true love. My hunni bunni, my #1 dude, my main squeeze, the one I love (and he loves me) drum rolllll, I'm talking about my Husband. It's date night.
Speaking of my husband, he almost made me feel bad for wearing these pants. He says I look like a plant superhero in them. And yes he even did the superhero stand and yelled, here comes Super Plant Girl dun-dun-dunnnnn! Why?!?!
Of course I thrifted them and I'll admit I did have second thoughts, but I wanted to give them a chance so I bought them. The first style option was a no-go, ero-go this look. The pants were hand-made by someone and they didn't do that great of a job because I had to play around with finding the front verses the back.
I was debating on whether or not to remove the lace from the bottom of the leg, but decided against it. The top is a thrifted denim top from the mens section. I cut the lining around the sleeves and bottom of the shirt and removed the pockets. I may DIY it a little more, not sure though.
Going with the theme of the plant print, I opted for these floral print block-heeled sandals from Asos and belted the top with an animal print belt to keep from looking so frumpy.
Well guys, I hope you see my outfit as a vision of style and not some superhero costume. Let me know what you think. Andddd, check out the last pic in this post. I'd really appreciate it.
