I don't really consider myself to be trendy. However, I do keep my eye on what's trending just so that I'm in the loop. My goal when it comes to style is to be me, a unique and memorable me!
So how did I end up in this bell sleeve lace top from Forever 21? Well, see what had happened was... I saw it on the hanger and sorta fell for it. Okay, it wasn't that simple. I did the whole pick it up and put it back thing. Then I did the I don't want/need it thing. Plus the walk away then come back and look at it again thing. Only to end up getting. Honestly, I'm glad I bought it. My top isn't available online (booo), but try your luck in the stores. In the meantime, I've linked to some pret-ty close seconds. My faves being this one and this one from Asos and this one from Forever 21.
Believe it or not, I'm not all to thrilled with this look. I think I should have gone with a shorter pair of pants. If I could do it all over again, I'd wear a pair of cropped pants like these from Asos. Who knows I just might re-do this look with the shorter pant leg. Long pants aside, this look will be hanging in the closet waiting on someone to invite me to their holiday party.
I'm totally diggin the fantabulous 'Stacia' sneaker from ShoeDazzle (not a VIP member, become one and save 75% off your first order - click ShoeDazzle)? They also come in blue, but the gold is what's happening. If I decided on another pair of gold sneakers, I'd have gone with these metallic low tops or these old school classic Reebox's in antique gold.
Did you catch that nothing was thrifted??? Don't worry, I may have cheated on the thrift store with this look, but I'm definitely going back.
