My 2017 Online Shopping Watch List

Atlanta Blogger, Online Shopping Wishlist, Black Friday Wishlist

Aside from being off from work and hanging out with fam and friends, I'm most excited about Black Friday!!!  Which means deals, steals and more deals.  It's also a sign that Christmas is up the street.  I love this time of year and so does my bank account.  It means that I can shop more and save less (or maybe not).  Today I'm sharing my watch/wish list of online stores to shop for faboulous items at awesome prices.

  • Asos -- I have fallen in love with this online fashion giant.  And I'm so looking forward to getting some of the pieces I've had my eye on at a discount.  Right now they're currently offering 30% off the entire site.
  • H&M -- Their online and in-store discounts are ongoing.  Now they have up to 70% off + Free Shipping.  You'll want to keep your eye on their site for more discounts.
  • Zara -- They have a really dope shoe collection that is very affordable.  Their clothes selection is pretty cool too.  The entire collection will be 30% off starting at 8pm est online tonight and in stores on November 24th.
  • Forever 21 -- Today only (or so they say) they are giving you 50% off for 24 hours only.  Use code Extra50
  • ShoeDazzle -- If you're a VIP member, enjoy 50% off EVERYTHING!!! Not a VIP member, use my code to save huge on your first purchase with my code >> https://www.shoedazzle.com/invite/thestyleklazit/
  • JustFab -- Same thing as ShoeDazzle.  Take 50% off your purchase.  And if you're not a VIP member, use my code >> https://www.justfab.com/invite/thestyleklazit/ to save big.
  • Shein -- The deal of the day is 60% off + a number of other Black Friday deals.  Keep in mind, this company is based in China so shipping may be longer than usual, but it will be worth it.
  • Boohoo -- Their Black Friday deals started yesterday (and yes, I've already taken advantage).  Everything is 60% off, but hurry before the sale ends.
  • Target -- This year I told my son, I didn't want his Christmas list.  Hubs and I will surprise him this year and I'm using Target's Black Friday Ad to help me grab up some of his faves at awesome prices.  FYI... Target will be opening up at 6pm on Thanksgiving so you can get a head start on your holiday shopping.
  • Walmart -- I'll be hitting up Walmart for some of great deals as well.  One thing I'll be replacing is my iPad.  It was destroyed by the youngster.  Here's a link to Walmart Black Friday deals

Happy Shopping and Have A Fun, Safe Thanksgiving Holiday!!!

That One Time I Almost Fought An Old Lady

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, Atlanta style blogger, Vintage top, fringe jeans

Look who finally decided to get here... Friday!  And I'm glad about it.  I think the end of the week likes to play games with my emotions.  But it's here and I'm ready to start my weekend shenanigans.

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, Atlanta style blogger, Vintage top, fringe jeans

Starting with later on this evening.  I'll be hanging out with some new blogger gal pals I met a few weeks ago at an event.  Oddly enough, I'm slightly excited.  If not for blogging, I think I'd still be that little semi-awkward person who noticed and admired other people's gifts and talents instead of noticing  and admiring my own gifts and talents.

Before I get too sappy, let's talk about this awesomely fab vintage top I scored two years ago from a thrift store outlet.  For only (drum rolllllllllll) $1.75?!?!?!  This top is why I will forever thrift.  I remember the day we met (cue harp sound effect and blurry fade to scene two years ago).  I was walking around minding my own business when my friend called my name and was like, Little Bit (because I'm short) look what I found for you.  My eyes immediately lit up like Christmas lights.  I heard the thrift angels singing a dope melody and for just a moment the world stopped.  It was instant love at first sight.

As soon as she brought it to me, throngs of people gather about me longing to touch, to feel, to embrace this colorful gem.  I gulped up all of the admiration for this find.  Yet there was this one person who was getting a little to close.  An older lady who kept trying to grab the top out of my hands.  She kept saying how beautiful the top was and how she remembers pieces like this top from back in her day.  Then she asks....

Can I try it on?  I immediately gave her the side eye.  All while she's trying to take the top out of my hands.  At this point, I'm like ma'am!  As she continues to get me to let go of the top.  After a few moments, I decided to let her try it on, but you can best believe, I was prepared to fight her over this top if she tried anything funny.  Needless to say I got the top.  I paired the top with an old pair of Forever21 jeans that I fringed at the bottom at one back pocket and red fringed heels, also old from JustFab.

I hope you enjoyed my little story as much as you do this outfit.  Have a stylishly fun weekend!!!

I'm wearing...

Distressed Skirt + Cobalt Blue Pumps

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, distressed skirt, cobalt blue heels, off white vest, Atlanta style blogger, Atlanta street style, Black blogger

Hey there you lover of fashion and style.  Hope your day is going swell.

For the last few weeks, we've had some really warm weather here in Atlanta and I've been enjoying every minute of it.  Today's look is one reason why.  This colorful floral print blouse and off white vest are both light-weight and perfect for the faux spring weather.  When I'm putting a look together, my main objective is to add something that will make the outfit stand out.  Hence the distressed skirt which I've worn before (here and here.)  The only problem I had was choosing which shoe to wear.  With all the different colors, I settle on these cobalt blue 'Aphra' pumps from Justfab a few years ago.  Take a look at all three looks and let me know which is your fave.

Denim on Denim + Blush Oxfords

The Style Klazit, Melodie Stewart, Atlanta Style blogger, Denim on Denim, Justfab blush oxford, Atlanta StreetStyle

It's almost Friday and I'm kinda stoked.  I have some shopping to do.  While that's not anything new, the exciting part about this shopping venture is that I'm shopping for my new client who's in Japan.  That's right, your girl is international (screammmmm.)  Okay, I'm back to calm and composed.  Anytime I'm shopping, I like to be as comfortable as possible, but I still want to look stylish.  Today's outfit is ideal for a day of shopping, especially since the weather this weekend is going to be wonderful.  In other news, it's been awhile since I've hosted a give-away and I think now is as good a time as ever.  Being a brand ambassador for JustFab, has it's perks.  One of the perks involve winning good stuff, like these super cute Drew oxfords.  Short story, they sent me the shoes in my size (7) but they run a half size too big.  As fate would have it, they couldn't take the shoes back, which means I can give them away.  Head over to my Instagram @thestyleklazit for deets on the give-away.  *The pair I have on are the replacement pair, just in case you were wondering.

Windowpane Print + Loafers

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, Atlanta style blogger, Atlanta wardrobe stylist, windowpane print pants street style, black loafers street style, Atlanta street style

Hello my name is Melodie and I am a shoeaholic.  I purchase at least 2-5 pair of shoes a month.  My shoe addiction is so bad that this is my first time wearing these patent loafers from JustFab.  Man, can you believe that I actually bought these shoes in 2015!  I'm sure you'd like to know what took me so long to wear them.  Well I forgot I had them.  Anywho, I'm so glad I found them because they are a perfect fit this look.  These windowpane print crop pants are part of a two-piece suit from Target, but I decided to break up the suit and pair the pants with a classic white button shirt, a closet staple and this fuzzy burgundy cardigan.  The two-tone chain was added at the last minute because I realized the outfit was plain looking without it.  I went with a grey handbag, because your bag doesn't have to match it just has to work with the overall feel of your look.  I like that this outfit is great for the office.  Would you were this to work?  Let me know below...

Men's Inspiration + Silver Oxfords

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, Atlanta style blogger, Atlanta stylist, Men's inspired look

Have you ever stood in your closet and asked yourself "What Am I Going To Wear?" Can I tell you this is my question most mornings?  Whenever I'm indecisive about what to wear, I start from the bottom.  Since I have a fairly decent shoe collection, I head to my shoe closet and let the shoes decide for me.  So the silver oxfords decided to make an appearance.  What I love most about these shoes is that they have the ability to completely change the style of anything I wear with them.  Today I'm biting from the guys in this men's inspired look.  I love a good andro look every now and again.  If you got my 30 Day Outfit Guide, you'll see I talk about the power of a blazer.  I could have stopped with the sweater but the blazer is what brought the entire look together.

What's your method for pulling a look together when you're clueless about what to wear?

Olive Trench + Acid Wash Denim Skirt

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, Atlanta style blogger, Vintage skirt, olive trench coat

If I told you that I'm less than two years away from 40, would you believe me?  Well I am, so I think that qualifies me to be considered an 80's/90's baby.  One of the biggest trends during that time frame was acid or stone wash denim.  And since fashion repeats itself, I was euphoric when I found this skirt at Ecologie Vintage on a Thrifting Atlanta Bus Tour last year.  Aside from the wash, I love the length of this skirt and the button detail.  The first time I styled this skirt (check it out) I had bigger hair.  I originally wanted to style this skirt with an oversized camel colored turtleneck sweater, but haven't found one that I like sooo I paired this skirt with a floral print sweat shirt and JustFab olive trench.  I really like how this look came together.  What do you think, it this something you'd wear?

Mustard Sweater + Animal Print Booties

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, Atlanta style blogger, Atlanta stylist, Black blogger

Hey y'all!  It's Monday yet again and this time last week, I was sitting around in my pj's binge watching the HGTV show 'Little House Big Living'.  Since I became a homeowner, I've become slightly consumed with watching home design shows.  I can't wait to bring you guys along as I beautify my new home.

Although I'm an early raiser, I am not a morning person and Monday mornings are always the roughest for me.  So often times, I'm looking to wear something that doesn't require a lot of brain activity.  So today's outfit is fairly simple.  I decided on a semi monochrome look with this fuzzy sweater and knit bodycon skirt.  To keep from looking like a jar of mustard I added a blue stripped shirt dress and animal print booties which can be treated as a neutral.  Adding a little effort I switched from my weekend handbag to this cute crossbody with fringe tassel.

Man I tell you, if I had it my way, I'd only work Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Wednesday.  But I suspect that's because I'm not, YET, a full time entrepreneur.  But I digress...

Trench Coat + Distressed Denim Skirt

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, Atlanta style blogger, Atlanta stylist, Justfab, Trench coat, distressed skirt

For years "the authority" has said that short/petite women should stay away from long garments for fear of looking even shorter.  But I'm the authority of my own fashion and style.  So when I saw this trench on JustFab.com, I had to have it.  Even sweeter, is that they come in +size as well.  Even before the coat arrived, I knew right off how I wanted to style it.  I'm a huge blazer wearer so I thought, treating the trench as a blazer would be really cute.  And instead of wearing pants, I opted for this distressed skirt.  Of course my skirt is thrifted, but you can get an inexpensive one here, here or here.  Here's a little secret... My top is actually a shirt dress.  This is a great example of maximizing your wardrobe.  Finished off the look with Shoedazzle "Zania" booties in taupe - similar here or here.

Every now and again, I try to tap into my girly side.  I think this look sums it up.  From my hair down to my shoes.  I'll say it, even if you don't - I look amazing!  It''s hard to believe that there was a time I would never compliment myself.  You look at me now and might ask, why?  Welllll, since you ask....

One word: Comparison!  I was always comparing my "flaws" against other female "perfections."  Either my booty wasn't big enough or my hair wasn't long enough or my smile was as pretty.  But what I failed to realize was that "Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy."  Although I may not have the flattest stomach or the smoothest skin; I've finally reached a point where I'm in love with myself.  Flaws and all.

Your mind can be your worst enemy.  Stop letting it lie to you!

What up y'all!  Happy Monday!  Whewww, what a week and weekend I've had.  Last week was my son's spring break and he spent it with his godparents.  I thought that this would be a week of relaxation but NOT SO

Dropped him off last Sunday and the rest of the week was a blur.  My plan was to come home and chill with hubs. Instead every evening I was in the streets.  From my bi-weekly chiropractor visits, a JustFab Diamond Elite Mixer, the debut of an old friends SS16 collection and a styling gig for the Spring 16 Urban Prep collection of
