Why Is The Hustle Sold Separtly? Why?

Melodie Stewart, The Style Klazit, Atlanta street style, Overalls, Krog Street

Today is one of those days when I just don't feel like adulting. As soon as my alarm went off this morning I wanted to throw the phone across the room (but I didn't since it's the new Samsung Galaxy S8+ that I just got last week and I l-o-v-e it!!!) I only wanted to lay in my bed and do absolutely nothing. Have you ever felt this way before?

I think it has something to do with me feeling confined. I mean 5 days a week I get up and travel to a job that I'm not thrill about. I don't even fit in with cooperate culture. It's kinda bad too, because the majority of the work day I'm struggling to keep my mind from constantly drifting to ways I can grow my personal styling client base or providing valuable consistent blog content.  Which brings me to today's blog question... Why is the hustle sold separately?

I realize that nothing in life worth having comes easy and I know that struggle comes along with the territory.  I just wish that I knew somebody who knew somebody who knew somebody who could magically make things all better.  But if that happened I probably wouldn't be as grateful for the reward as I would be by putting in the werk.

Dreaming requires minimal effort.  A dream without a plan is just a wish.  So what's it going to take to turn this dream into a reality?  Grab your note book for this next part.  Here's the hustle game plan.

1. Set goals
Don't allow your mind to be filled with empty dreams.  Set realist goals.  And if you're feeling greasy,  set unrealistic goals.  Let your mind run free with endless possibilities.

2. Plan
Get an actionable plan together.  What is it going to take to turn a thought into real life?

3. Speak it out loud
There's power in the tongue.  Even if you don't see it, say it!

4. If you fail
Get back up and keep trying.  You've only lost is you stop trying.

5. Push thru
     Refuse to settle!

I hope you've read something that will encourage you to keep going.  As much as I wanted to hid from the world today, I got out my bed and pulled myself together and forced myself to take Dory's (from Finding Nemo) advice and just keep going.

Weekend of Fashion & Fun - The Jumper / pt. 3

Hey Stylenista's!

Finally part 3 of my fun filled fashion weekend....  Click here for part 1 and part 2.

The conclusion of my weekend ended at a Trunk Show hosted by fellow fashion blogger Nikka Shae of Oh! Nikka.  Style ambassador Perrie Tucker gave us a sneak peak into the newest Lifestyle Brand collection by British Designer India Hicks.  The collection has quick a few pieces that I would have loved to have brought home with me, however, father's day is fast approaching and I have big plans for my boo that requires $$$.

Anywho, on to the most important piece; my outfit!  Since I had been in heels all day the day before I opted for flats.  How cute are the pink and white oxfords?  Well since I had the shoe selection for the day, the next step was building the look.  After shopping my closet in my mind and one minor suggestion from my husband.... I give you: The Jumper!

Outfit Details
Top, Jumper & handbag - Thrifted
Bowtie - Canary48

Just Chill'n

Hi Stylenista's

I'm back!  Although it's only been like a week or two, it seems like a month or two.  I hope you all had a great 4 day weekend; I did.  My goal was to do nothing and to go no where... Well that didn't happen.  You see, I'm a thrift fiend so I ended up at the thrift store.  It was $.50 day and I found a few pieces that I'm excited to wear.

Okay so this look is simple, yet cute.  I had a meeting to attend and I wanted to be comfortable.  So instead of heels I opted for these mint green oxfords.
