The “Greenlight Project” fashion Show by Dai Moda with celebrity stylist, Sudi Spence of sudiSTYLE || Event Recap

This weekend proved to me that I'm kinda getting old.  I hung out Friday and Saturday yet all I could think about was getting back home to my bed.

Friday night I attended Aspire TV's new series "The Graduates ATL" premier party but left after pushing myself to stay an hour (which I was kinda mad because I'd paid $20 to park).  Last night I attended Dai Moda’sThe Greenlight Project” fashion show hosted by Angela Simmons.

Celebrity stylist Sudi Spence of sudiSTYLE did an amazing job with each look on the runway.  I really really fell in love with Natt Taylor's collections.  Sadly, I didn't capture her line because of issues with the lighting on my camera.  However, I'm hoping to get pics and maybe do a post of her line in the future.

The highlights of the evening were...

- Singer/ Violinist Angelina Sherie.  Her performance was head banging.  I had no idea that a violin could be played with such gusto and heart.  Check out her latest music (here).

- The absolute best model in the game (in my opinion), Nedra Phillips did her thang.  Whenever she graces the stage, you don't have a choice but to look.  She definitely commands attention when she's on the runway.

- On the heels of Nedra is another beautiful model with curves for days is Devorah Story

Overall, this was an awesome show.  One of the best shows I been to in awhile.

Barbie&Ken's BIG 30: Charity Fashion Show || Event Recap

I've done something this past weekend that I haven't done in a while.  I was in these Atlanta streets for four days straight.  All I can say is that I'll have to limit my weekend shenanigans to one weekend a month, because I'm tired...

One of the highlights of my weekend was attending the birthday celebration/charity fashion show for one of Atlanta's dopest indie designers.  Shenae Johnson of The Blonde Hair'd Girl debuted her Unicorn Dreams Collection at her Barbie & Ken Big 30 Charity Fashion show.  The event was held at one of the coolest venues in Yomi Gaming in Atlanta.  The runway was a yellow brick road.

Also gracing the runway were the likes of some other awe-inspiring designers like Wildlyfe Clothing, fashion designer Marcia Maxwell the creative behind b.young_couture, Mia Carreras of, Amir James of amirjamesclothiers, Haze DevlinStress Me Down By Leah R and 5ive Eleven Clothing.

This was one of The Best fashion shows I've been to in awhile.  My only regret is that due to the paparazzi of other photog's, I didn't get that many good shots, so the slide show doesn't give the pieces coming down the runway any justice.  At the rate that Shenae is going, I wouldn't be shocked to see her on the runway of NYFW.

Thanks for stopping by!!!
