Blogger Brunch

Dropping In To Say Hello!

Copy of stockmen.png

Hi guys!  I'm wanted to drop in to say hiiii!  Since the more experienced bloggers say you should blog at least twice a week if not more.  This is my weekly post and I can't promise another one for this week.  If I'm honest with you, I really haven't felt motivated enough to blog about anything.

Building a brand when you're only 75% sure about what it is you're doing is not fun.  When you know you can do it but the 'how' seemly eludes you is the frustrating part.  I was feeling like crap yesterday, I actually ranted on my instastories.  I think one of the reason's for my anxiety is that I'm planning an event Kläzit Raid - Shop The Bloggers Closet} next month and the nightmare is that no one will show up.  But I'm not going to give in to those thoughts.

Part of my rant on IG was about the repeating cycle from generations past.  I am so determined that the complacency of mediocrity stops at me.  It has been my pray that what has prevented my loved ones, including me at one point, from wanting more and putting in the work to get it will no longer be an issue going forward.  And for added measure, my event will be Ah-Maz-Zing!

Okay, okay!  I'm ranting again.  I was only dropping in to say hello since I haven't blogged in over a week.  Consistency is king, right?!

WAIT!  Before I go, if you're in the Atlanta area on Saturday, July 22 and you're looking for something fun to do, join me and 9 other bloggers for a day filled with eating, networking and shopping.

Ceesay Banjul Blogger Brunch || Event Recap

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend a bloggers brunch at Gallery 43 for the re-grand opening of an online boutique based here in Atlanta.  Cerah Ceesay, owner of Ceesay Banjul showcased her new collection of pieces ranging from boho, girls night out and street chic.

Cerah launched Ceesay Banjul back in 2013 during her junior year at Clark Atlanta U.  After a few bumps and bruises she pushed herself to keep on moving.  Paying homage to her parents and heritage; She names her boutique after them using her last name Ceesay and where they are from, Banjul in Gambia, West Africa.

Not only was the decor gorgeous, the food was scrumptious and I caught up with some of my blogger babes and got a chance to meet some new one's as well.  There were a few items I pined over, but I didn't give in (I have a shopping budget to adhere to.)  But you my friend can certainly take advance of Ceesay Banjul's summer collection >>> here!

Thank you Lillie Mae PR for inviting me.
